This Rakhi season, the highest purchase and engagement have been recorded for Rakhi combos

This Rakshabandhan, shoppers are availing organic rakhi options and masks on e-commerce websites. Online shopping websites say that they have curated some innovative gift options, and have curated a special section for Rakhis.

As per study by Flipkart-Bain, insights showed that the growth of e-commerce will be led by smaller towns, which account for four out of five new shoppers. This Rakhi season, the highest purchase and engagement have been recorded for Rakhi combos which includes combo masks, mugs, cushions, and sippers etc.

There’s also increased demand for sustainable and organic rakhis showcasing the gradual change in consumer buying.

Last week, Amazon launched Rakhi Store and curated a wide range for gifting options. Snapdeal has also launched a range of gifting options for rakhi. While gadgets, jewellery have been one of the most favourite options for Rakshabandhan, this year masks have also taken over gifts.

A Nirvana Being official says,”Keeping in mind the COVID-19 scenario a lot of us may be worried about meeting our younger siblings considering they are still unvaccinated. We have launched a twin pack of their protective and fun Nirvana N95 masks to ensure safety and as a gift option.”

Besides, there’s also a surge in digital gifts like e-cards like last year. Shoppers prefer giving digital cards over other items.
